This Privacy Policy explains how GCExperts LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Government Construction Secrets Book at governmentconstructionsecretsbook.com ("the Service"), a website about post-award money discipline for federal construction contractors: written notices, changes, delays, prompt payment and disputes.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
- Free sample chapter details. If you request the free sample chapter, the name, company, email address, primary NAICS code and role you submit, so we can send the chapter and follow up about the full edition.
- Membership and payment records. The plan you bought, the amount, the currency, the payment status, and the payment provider's transaction identifier. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Usage and security data. Records needed to keep sessions working and the site safe, such as session tokens and rate-limit counters. Session tokens are stored in a strictly-necessary cookie.
- Cookie choices. The consent choice you make on the cookie banner.
How we use information
- To create and secure your account and let you sign in and reset your password.

Sharing

Retention

Password-reset links expire after 60 minutes and are single-use. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information except where we must retain it by law.
